AWESOME SADDLE STOOLS!!!Reviewed by J. Molinari, 2010-02-17
These stools are great for the price! Solid wood- very sturdy. We looked all around the city for saddle stools to match our new kitchen table set, and found nothing- nothing for a lot of $$$! The price of these stools are a steal! Fast delivery too! Would recommend to anyone!!!
Great BuyReviewed by kaukaty, 2010-02-06
We had the regular round bar stools....They were never great to sit on, so we tried out this saddle type. It is so much better. The stool is a great buy, came in perfect shape, took only minutes to assemble and we will be ordering more.
Surprisingly SolidReviewed by A. Hamberg, 2010-01-25
The stools look better than I expected and feel very sturdy. I
ordered two stools and assembled them painlessly in about 30
minutes combined. Part of that time included cutting felt pads for
the bottom of the legs. The stools did not include any type of
footing and I didn't want them to destroy my wood floors.
I deducted one star as the finish wasn't completely uniform and one
of the seats had a small scratch. However, given the price they are
a steal.
Sturdy StoolReviewed by Lyle Slack, 2010-01-23
The stool is easy to assemble, and is quite sturdy. I use it in my shop, and tend to put my feet on one of the longer crossbars. The finish is wearing off there. A plastic cover for at least one of those crossbars would be a good idea.
NiceReviewed by B. Goldstein, 2010-01-20
Like others, I had trouble locating the "dots" to distinguish which
leg goes where, I ended up guessing... WRONG. The stool still
assembled incorrectly, but there were tiny gaps where the legs
attached under the seat. (I'm sure some people have assembles them
wrong and not even noticed.) So, I unscrewed the whole thing and
started again. Now it's perfect. I ordered a second stool, and it
was missing all hardware (however, this stool DID have the "dots"-
red stickers- identifying the pieces). I have contacted the
company, and Amazon, and expect the problem to be remedied. I'm
sure I'll be ordering a few more.
*HINT- If your stools are missing the red dots, just use the pic as
a guide. The LONG cross bar goes in the top holes, the SHORT bar
goes in the lower holes...
